Training for the Olympics is a full-time physical and emotional commitment. The Road to Gold
There are many ways to be a part of the Road to Gold: Boxing Olympic Level Training:
- Pledge a Monthly amount or a one time amount
- Boxer’s Stipend
- Bodywork – Massage and Alignment
- Running Coach
- Travel Expenses (for competition and training)
- Training Expenses
- Weight lifting coach
- Sport psychologist
Training for the Olympics is a full-time professional and emotional commitment from not only the athlete but from her coaches, her community and her family. The following is a breakdown of monetary supported needed for training:
- Boxer Monthly Stipend $2000 per month
- Health and Dental Care: Already Supported!
- Track/Road Work Coach $500.00 per month
- Strength Coach $500.00 per month
- Boxing Skills Coach $750.00 per month
- Sports Psychologist $750.00
- Local Sparring Trips (Seattle Gyms) $150.00 per month
- Regional Sparring Trips (Pacific Coast Gyms) $400.00 per month
- National Sparring Trips $500.00 per month
- Equipment $150.00 per month
